First round of the international harp competition, open to the public
Followed by the announcement of results

8 PM – 9.30 PM: CONCERT, De Geerhallen
Discover Prattés Music!

Solo and chamber music works by the composer + works by our composer-in-residence, Dr Naji Hakim

Saturday May 11

Norrköping Concert Hall: exhibition of celtic, study and concert harps by Salvi and Lyon and Healy

Morning: Rehearsal finalists with chamber orchestra

09.30 AM – 1 PM: Masterclasses in Norrköping Concert Hall/ small harp concerts in town given by the festival participants (more information on both activities available soon!)

2 PM – 4 PMFinal round of the competition, open to the public with chamber orchestra ”Camerata Ostrogothia”, conducted by Roman Reznik

The results will be announced the next day (Sunday 12th of May) at the closing Gala Concert, where a Prize Distribution Ceremony will be held and the winner will play once again.

4.30 PM – 6.30 PM: Masterclasses in Norrköping Concert Hall/ small harp concerts in town given by the festival participants (more information on both activities available soon!)

7.30 PM – 9:00 PM: festive harpconcert by soloists from the jury

Camerata Ostrogothia (chamber orchestra with musicians from Norrköping Symphony Orchestra) conducted by Roman Reznik

Pratté: thème and variations for solo harp
Bochsa: Concerto for harp and chamber orchestra 
Rossini: Overture to ”la Gazza Ladra”
Parish-Alvars: Concertino in D-minor for two harps and orchestra

Announcement of competition results and Prize Ceremony
The winner closes the festival by playing a piece with the chamber orchestra.
